We are considering taking our 5th Generation (2014) Toyota 4Runner from the US to Stockholm when we move next year. Might anyone know of the modifications we need to make and where we can make those changes? I know it is not an American car, but I am having a lot of trouble finding information.

It called "flyttgodsbil" (and "Flyttsak" I think is the right term) and that is good for you, or it has been atleast, 15 years ago. It will be ok with rear lights blinking read (our blinking orange) and some other things and tax free. If I remember correctly you need to have owned it for over a year for this to work.
